3-DAY EXPERIENCES
The good 3-day experiences fill weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 4 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
Meet at Iguana Surf in Tamarindo for three private or very small-group 90-minute lessons. Your instructor assesses your level, sets suitable lesson times, supplies boards and wax, and photographs your surfing from shore. Unlimited board rentals and a T-shirt are included.

You get three two-hour morning lessons at Kalama Park with Surf Yoga Maui instructors such as Eddie and Epse. Learn board skills, etiquette, safety, paddling, pop-ups, wave timing, and turning. Boards, reef shoes, and rash guards are included, and you choose how to space the lessons.

Meet Waves Hawaii Surf School near Kalama Park for a three-day surf progression with boards, reef shoes, rash guards, and professional coaching. San and Lucas are praised for patient instruction, while Elijah may provide surf photos for purchase. You must submit three preferred dates when booking.

Meet the Raglan Surf School team at the red surf truck in Ngarunui Beach carpark for three consecutive two-hour lessons. You’ll use a supplied board and wetsuit while English-speaking instructors teach the basics, offer daily tips, and help you gain confidence in the water.
